A smiling cartoon airplane with big round eyes rolls along the tarmac, its little wheels resting beside painted runway stripes. Behind it stand a curved terminal building with large window panes and a tall control tower topped by a dome and antenna. The outlines are thick and the shapes are big, so children aged 2 to 5 can fill each part without frustration. Try a bright red or sky blue for the plane and a sunny yellow for the tower windows, using chunky crayons. Prints on A4 or US Letter.

Ready for boarding: a big passenger jet waits at the gate, its jet bridge connected near the cockpit and a long row of round windows along the fuselage. A small baggage tractor pulls two luggage carts across the apron, while the control tower, a glass terminal, puffy clouds and a shining sun fill the sky. Runway lights and tufts of grass line the bottom edge. Kids aged 5 to 10 will enjoy the mix of vehicles and buildings. Color the tail fin stripes in two bold shades with felt-tip markers to invent your own airline.

Busy ground crews surround an airliner parked at its jet bridge in this richly drawn airport scene. A conveyor belt loader climbs to the cargo hold, a fuel truck waits by the wing, a tug sits near the nose gear, and a train of baggage carts crosses the painted apron dotted with traffic cones. Farther back, a second jet taxis, another climbs into the clouds, and mountains rise behind the tall control tower and curved glass terminal. Older kids and adults will find plenty to work on. Colored pencils in cool grays, whites and safety orange make the scene feel real.

Every surface of this airport is packed with zentangle patterns, from the paisley-covered fuselage of the parked jet to the tiled apron, swirling clouds and blooming sun. A belt loader carries suitcases up to the hold, a tanker truck and a tug wait nearby, and a little vehicle tows three luggage carts along the bottom of the page. In the distance, a second plane sits at the terminal, another takes off, and the patterned control tower stands before mountains. Made for experienced adult colorists who love dense pages. Fine-tip gel pens in a limited palette of teal, coral and gold keep the detail readable.
