Kinkaku-ji (easy)
easyA two-roofed pavilion with a little bird on top stands on rocks at the edge of a pond, with a twisting pine tree and round bushes around it. This is Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto, Japan, whose upper floors are covered in real gold leaf. The bird on its roof is a phoenix. The broad shapes and thick lines are easy to follow for children aged about 2 to 5. Use a golden yellow crayon for the building, blue for the water and green for the trees. Prints on A4 or US Letter.
