Up she goes! A cheerful little witch zooms past a big spotted moon on her broomstick, wearing a tall buckled hat, a short cape and striped stockings tucked into pointy boots. A smiling kitten rides along at the front of the broom. The outlines are thick and the shapes are big and open, perfect for toddlers and preschoolers aged about 2 to 5. Try chunky crayons with a purple hat, orange and black stripes on the stockings and a bright yellow moon. Prints on A4 or US Letter.
Flying high above a sleepy village, a young witch with long wavy hair grips her broom while a happy kitten in a bell collar sits on the handle. Her cape billows behind her, her boots have square buckles, and the sky is dotted with stars, puffy clouds and a cratered full moon. Below, little houses and a church steeple sit among round trees and hills. A great pick for kids aged 5 to 10. Color the night sky with dark blue felt tips and leave the stars white so they really shine.
Long curls streaming in the wind, a smiling witch sails over a riverside town with a fluffy tabby cat perched on her broom. Her wide hat is trimmed with flowers, her dress has a laced bodice, and her lace-up boots dangle above the rooftops. Beyond the stone bridge, a castle crowns a wooded hill under a textured moon and twinkling stars. The fine lines and full scene suit older kids and adults. Colored pencils work well here: layer warm peach and gold on the moon, then fade the sky from indigo to soft violet.
Every inch of this page is packed with pattern. A smiling witch with flowing hair rides her broom beside a grinning fluffy cat, her hat, cape, satchel and broom bristles all filled with tiny mosaic and braided designs. An owl watches from a leafy branch, a patterned moon glows behind her, and a turreted castle, stone bridge, lantern and tiled rooftops crowd the lower half among flowers. Made for experienced adult colorists who love dense detail. Fine-tip gel pens in jewel tones will make the tiny cells sparkle.
