Christmas train coloring pages

Santa waves from the cab of a chunky steam engine with a bow on its front, puffing clouds of smoke as it rolls along the track. Behind him, a wagon is piled with wrapped presents next to a star-topped Christmas tree. Thick outlines and big shapes are just right for little ones aged 2 to 5. Use chunky crayons for a red engine, black wheels and bright gifts. Prints on A4 or US Letter.

A steam engine with a wreath and bow on its front and a bell on top chugs along a curving track, pulling two wagons full of presents. Big clouds of smoke billow into the sky over snowy fir trees, a decorated Christmas tree, mountains and a little house on the hill. Clear lines and medium detail suit kids aged about 5 to 8. Try a green engine with red wheels and gold for the bell. Prints on A4 or US Letter.

Santa leans out and waves as his steam train crosses a tall stone viaduct over a snowy valley. The engine has a big wreath, a bell and a lamp, and its long line of wagons is hung with garlands and loaded with gifts. Behind, snowy pines, a decorated tree, a church steeple and rugged mountains rise under billowing smoke. Fine lines suit older kids from about 8 and adults. Shade the stone arches with warm grays. Prints on A4 or US Letter.

An ornate engine with a snowflake medallion, a bow and a bell steams out of a tunnel onto a stone viaduct, with Santa waving from the cab. Behind, a decorated tree, a village with a spire and snowy forests fill the page, framed by poinsettias. For experienced adult colorists with fine liners. Try deep red and gold for the engine. Prints on A4 or US Letter.
