Under a bright star, Mary and Joseph smile down at baby Jesus sleeping in a manger full of hay inside a simple wooden stable. A friendly ox and a donkey peek in, two young shepherds kneel on either side, and a little lamb rests in front. Thick outlines and gentle shapes suit young children aged 2 to 5. Use chunky crayons for a soft blue robe for Mary and golden yellow for the star. Prints on A4 or US Letter.
Mary kneels in prayer beside baby Jesus in the manger, while Joseph stands with his staff in a wooden stable with a thatched roof. An ox and a donkey look on, one shepherd holds a lamb and another kneels beside a sheep. Outside, a palm tree, a small town on the hill and a shining star with smaller stars fill the sky. A peaceful page for kids aged about 5 to 8. Try warm browns for the stable. Prints on A4 or US Letter.
Inside a stable with a straw roof and a hanging lantern, Mary watches over baby Jesus in the manger while Joseph stands nearby with his staff. Two shepherds kneel close by, sheep and a lamb rest on the straw, and an ox and a donkey look over the fence. Through the open side, a bright star shines over palm trees and the town of Bethlehem. Fine lines suit older kids from about 8 and adults. Use soft earth tones and gold for the star. Prints on A4 or US Letter.
Mary and Joseph bend gently over baby Jesus, who lies in the manger with a soft halo, inside a stable framed by vines and hanging lanterns. Their robes, the ox, the donkey and the woolly sheep are all filled with fine patterns, and a small bird, clay jars and a woven basket sit on the straw. Above, a radiant star shines over the domed town. Made for experienced adult colorists with fine liners. A calm palette of blues, creams and gold suits it well. Prints on A4 or US Letter.
