Smiling wide with neat little teeth, a cartoon crocodile rests on a riverbank with its ridged tail curled behind it. Round spots dot its back, its belly has wide stripes and a few grass tufts and pebbles sit by the water. The thick outlines suit little ones aged 2 to 5. Color the crocodile bright green with a pale yellow belly and the river blue.
A saltwater crocodile with a scaly, ridged back lies on a sandy riverbank with a sly smile. Palm trees and mangroves with tangled roots grow by the water, and hills rise far away. Clear lines and medium shapes suit kids aged about 5 to 10. Try olive green and gray for the crocodile, golden sand and blue green water.
Every scale is drawn on a long saltwater crocodile basking on a muddy bank beside a wide river. Mangrove trees with arching roots shade the left side, palms grow on the far shore and a flat-topped escarpment rises behind the forest. Fine lines suit older kids, teens and adults. Layer dark olive, gray and a touch of yellow on the scales, with brown mud and calm blue water.
A huge saltwater crocodile lies on a log at the river's edge, its armored scales packed with tiny detail. A heron wades among water lilies, a bird flies overhead, a small crab sits by the log and a big hibiscus flower blooms in the front, with mangroves, palms and mountains behind. Made for teens and adults who love dense, detailed pages. Try olive and bronze scales with a bright red hibiscus.
