With its curly arms spread wide, a smiling baby octopus floats among a few round bubbles. Each arm ends in a spiral and shows a row of oval suckers, while the big round head has large shiny eyes and an open, happy mouth. The bold lines and large spaces make it ideal for children aged about 2 to 5. Pick one bright color, like purple or pink, for the whole octopus and use a lighter shade for the suckers. Prints on A4 or US Letter.

Hello from the sea floor! A happy octopus waves its curling arms, each lined with little suckers, while bubbles drift up around it. Spots decorate its round head, tall seaweed sways on both sides, and a scallop shell, a dotted starfish and smooth pebbles rest on the sand below. The outlines are clean and the details are just right for kids around 5 to 10. Try coral red for the octopus, sandy beige for the floor and two greens for the seaweed, using colored pencils or markers.

Sprawled across a rocky sea floor, a large octopus spreads its long arms in every direction, showing rows of round suckers and a textured, mottled skin. Behind it lies a sunken sailing ship with torn sails, while a school of fish swims overhead. Sea anemones, tube sponges, corals, seashells and a starfish fill the foreground. With its fine lines and full scene, it suits older kids and adult colorists. Layer colored pencils in rusty red and burnt orange on the octopus, leaving the suckers a pale peach.

Long swirling arms spiral out from a wide-eyed octopus whose body is packed with petals, teardrops and leaf patterns. Every tentacle curls into a tight spiral lined with rows of round suckers. Around it, the reef fills the page edge to edge: branching coral, tube sponges, little striped fish, nautilus shells, a scallop shell and a dotted starfish in the bottom corner. Made for experienced adult colorists who love long, absorbing sessions. Try a deep-sea palette of teal, violet and coral pink with fine-tip markers, keeping the suckers a pale cream so the arms stand out.
